In May of 2011, we launched the Oldham Kids program, offering families
with children suffering from various cancers, as well as other life
threatening illnesses, the opportunity to live a fantasy through
portraiture. This program gives children the chance to have
their photos taken with costumes, stuffed animals and other
whimsical props while taking their minds off treatments
and hospitals.

Children facing a cancer diagnosis or any diagnosis that is life
threatening have a long road ahead. They may face days and weeks of invasive treatments, chemotherapy, hair loss and faltering self-esteem. We want to honor these heroic children by creating a fun, positive and memorable experience. These photographs also offer parents and other loved ones hope and a short break from needles, treatments and pain, with images of their children in a happy atmosphere. Children have the opportunity to feel special, have fun, be normal, AND feel like a star!

Each child who participates in the Oldham Kids program will receive a CD containing retouched images with full rights for usage, a set of proofs from those images, a digital video production of the images from their session, a 16 x 20 canvas wrap print of the image of their choice, and a free calendar at year’s end with their image along with their professional portrait session.

Please help us give these families a lasting memory by helping us spread the word about the mission of Oldham Kids and getting these brave fighters through our doors.
